Helping Children Grow in Confidence
Is your child lacking confidence? Do they hold back from trying new things, worry about getting things wrong, or need a place where they can truly be themselves?

At the Summer Stage Experience, we believe every child deserves the chance to shine. Our workshops are filled with fun, laughter, creativity, and encouragement, where children can build confidence while making friends and creating unforgettable memories.

You don't need any previous performing experience, and you certainly don't have to be the loudest or most confident person in the room. All we ask is that children come with an open mind and a willingness to give it a go.

Although our sessions are led by experienced performing arts teachers, our greatest success stories aren't the students who have gone on to perform professionally. They're the children who arrive quietly, unsure of themselves, and leave believing in who they are. Watching a child find their voice, discover their strengths, and beam with pride after achieving something they never thought possible - THAT is what Summer Stage is all about!

This is the reason I became a teacher, and it's why I founded Calm Theatre Company. Throughout my teaching career, I have always been recognised for creating nurturing, positive environments where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to succeed. The Summer Stage Experience allows me to continue that mission beyond the classroom—helping children grow in confidence, discover their potential, and leave knowing they are capable of more than they ever imagined.
What's it all about?
Join us for the Summer Stage Experience 2026 (SSE 2026)!

Give your child a week filled with singing, acting, dancing, creativity, and fun. Throughout the week, participants will work together to create an exciting variety performance, which will be showcased to family and friends on Friday.

At SSE 2026, we're passionate about more than just putting on a great show. We aim to provide a warm, supportive environment where young performers can build confidence, try new things, make lasting friendships, and develop their skills without fear of judgement. With plenty of laughter, encouragement, and teamwork along the way, every child will play a valued role in creating a performance they can be proud of.
We can't wait to welcome your child and watch them shine!
